Artist Linda Rael presents a demonstration workshop using leaves from various plants and trees to dye and print their images onto fabric. Linda will demonstrate the processes of fabric preparation, binding and how the finished prints work after the dyeing process is complete. Handouts will be given with information and additional sources.

The Open Space Visitor Center (OSVC) in Albuquerque, and the Española Valley Fiber Arts Center host “Water,” a juried exhibit representing the vast array of fiber arts found throughout the state of New Mexico. Learn about different fiber art techniques and materials as you explore a world of wonders.
The gallery exhibit runs through June 3rd, 2018.

Artist Katherine (K.M) White presents a discussion on the spiritual uses of water. The activity will include a participatory water blessing and cleansing.
As an artist, White works in collage and mixed media. Her pieces include some large, broad views and some small, more intimate glimpses of man and his relationships with water and his fellow creatures.
Her work is featured in the Open Space gallery through July 1st.
